Giving Families a Place to Stay
Friends of NICU has purchased two motor homes which are parked at Mercy San Juan Hospital. These motor homes have been continuously occupied since the first one was parked there in 2012. Parents and their children can stay just steps away from the hospital giving them an extraordinary opportunity to be close to their baby in the NICU. Every moment of contact with mom or dad helps premature babies grow and sick babies get well.
Celebration of Miracles
The Celebration of Miracles is our biggest fundraiser bringing in $50,000 nearly every year since the first year in 2009. We have a variety of fine wines served every year. Entertainment has varied from David Garibaldi and his performance art to a Monte Carlo Night in 2014.
